Mashtare stated “We will have live Rock and Country music entertainment provided by a number of local bands which showcase our North Country’s own brand of talented entertainers. Current plans also include a Karaoke Contest for local talent with prizes for the winners. Additionally, we will hold raffles and drawings for items that have been donated by local businesses who want to help us make this event a success. We will use the proceeds from this event to help fund the many programs and sponsorships we provide to local individuals and organizations needing help. One such program is the “Veterans Assistance Fund” which is used to help veterans, many which have seen duty in hot spots around the world including Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan, with untenable problems they may encounter with their day to day living experiences after discharge from service.”
The Jamboree will start at 12:00 Noon and continue to 10:00pm. In addition to the live musical entertainment, there will be booths featuring many different food & beverage selections along with local arts & crafts vendors.
